The Product Researcher supports day-to-day applied research activities through hands‑on experimentation, prototype development, and consumer‑focused research. This role is highly execution‑oriented and involves conducting laboratory and technical testing, assembling prototypes, performing market research, and supporting product development initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, analytical capabilities, and experience working with 3D prototyping and CAD tools.
- Perform day‑to‑day applied research activities and experimental work
- Assemble samples and prototypes for testing and evaluation
- Conduct standard laboratory and technical testing following established SOPs
- Create and update product specifications based on standard information
- Execute simple technical solutions and product modifications
- Perform qualitative and quantitative consumer and technical tests
- Submit products and samples for analytical testing
- Utilize internal systems including SMART, Desktop Reporter, and GAIMS
- Support the product team in refining and prioritizing the product backlog
- Conduct customer and market research and document findings analytically
- Perform basic image analysis using software applications
- Develop and support 3D prototypes and CAD‑based designs
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support product development activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and research records
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience with 3D Prototyping
- Proficiency in CAD 2D tools
- Basic image analysis experience using software applications
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to follow standard procedures and work independently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing and evaluating prototypes
- Familiarity with consumer research methodologies
- Ability to independently create and execute data analysis plans
- Experience working in laboratory, pilot plant, or research environments
- Knowledge of product lifecycle and backlog management processes
- Familiarity with SMART, Desktop Reporter, and GAIMS systems
- Hands‑on research and development environment

- Part‑time schedule (21 hours per week)
