POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN CANCER BIOLOGY

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to study transcriptional and epigenetic gene regulation in breast cancer metastasis and therapeutic resistance, focusing on the role of transcriptional cofactors and small RNAs in liquid‑liquid phase separation and the development of RNA‑based nano‑therapeutics.

• Conduct research experiments within the defined scope and methodology.
• Gather, analyze data, and develop innovative ideas that advance current research.
• Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts, and presentations of research results.
• Assist in manuscript writing for scientific journals and contribute to grant writing.
• Stay informed of advances in the field to maintain and enhance professional expertise.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Teach techniques, train, and mentor junior research staff.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.
• Seek career and research advice from faculty supervisors and peers.

Doctoral Degree in Molecular and Cellular Cancer Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

Prior experience with Cancer Biology, Animal Models, RNA Splicing, or LLPS Biochemistry is ideal.
