Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time GRILL COOK position at Xavier University – 3800 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45207. Online applications accepted only.

• Full‑time – Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Further details upon interview.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $16.75 per hour.

• Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation.
• Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive.
• Use ticket‑collection procedures and maintain accurate records of the area worked.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods following standard safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information to the supervisor.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work a full‑time schedule including evenings.
