Must have availability (at least two of the days) Friday, Saturday, Sunday with availability on Sunday (AM/PM) preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support bar and restaurant operations by executing functions in accordance with Mad Tree Alcove standards, guest expectations, and event specifications.
- Responsible for setup and clean‑up of the bar area.
- Beverage service and housekeeping throughout shifts.
- Food preparation for cocktail garnishes as needed.
- Monitor and stock all supplies and product inventory behind the bar.
- Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption to ensure a safe experience.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Serve as a consultant to guests to educate and help them select beverages.
- Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible and contribute to a goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
- Help with service – polishing glassware and silverware, running food, bussing tables, and keeping the restaurant clean as needed.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Qualification Requirements- Experience in a high‑volume bar and/or restaurant is strongly preferred.
- Elevated knowledge of craft beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with standard drink recipes.
- Comfort with working independently, multitasking, and maintaining efficiency and productivity with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including holidays and extended hours.
- Ability to count and accurately make change involving large sums of money.
- Ability to use a calculator and technology aptitude for working with POS and digital register.
- Effective and frequent communication with manager and support staff, regardless of department or shift.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be a people person.
- Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards, and confidence to speak up and act when safety and quality are compromised.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
- Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment is usually that of a bar and restaurant.
- The employee occasionally works near hazardous materials.
- The employee works occasionally on wet floors and with wet equipment.
