Salary Range: $13.00 To $15.00 Hourly

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwasher or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies such as food, dishes, and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
• Inspect and clean areas of responsibility.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking or serving as needed.

• Ability to understand and follow directions and requests for assistance.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a kitchen environment.
• The skills necessary of this position are typically acquired through a minimum of two months on the job training or through related experience.

• Ability to stand and walk during 6-to-8-hour shifts.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in storerooms and freezers.
• Ability to work in a frequently hot and damp environment and use proper precautions with various types of chemicals.
• Ability to frequently immerse hands in water.
