- The Dishwasher at MLH CINCINNATI USA LLC plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurant's kitchen area. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned promptly and efficiently to support the smooth operation of our culinary team.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling materials.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and report any inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient cleaning during peak hours.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is advantageous
- Familiarity with standard kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices
