Servers attend to guests during a meal, helping them place their order and making sure they get their food and beverages in a timely manner. They greet guests and engage in friendly conversation with them to cultivate a hospitable, welcoming environment. Servers must be knowledgeable about the food and wine on the menu so they can guide guests through a memorable dining experience only Nicola's can create.

• Experience in the hospitality industry as a server
• Prior experience in a fine dining establishment is preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of wine and food items on the menu
• Must be friendly, attentive, and able to handle guest needs effectively
• Collaboration with other servers, kitchen staff, and hosts is vital for smooth service
• The ability to address customer complaints and resolve issues calmly and effectively is important.
• Accuracy in taking orders and handling payments is essential.
• Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, even during busy periods, is crucial.
• Punctuality and the ability to work scheduled shifts are necessary.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
• High level of stamina to work to work on feet for extended periods
