Food Service Substitute Workers School Year)
Substitute cafeteria workers are needed for the school year. Start and end times vary by building, typically a 3.75 hour shift unless a 7‑hour person is needed.
Responsibilities- Assist with lunch meal preparation (sandwich making & bagging, cupping fruit, salad, and veggies)
- Set up and serve lunch meal
- Break down and clean up serving lines and work areas
- Restock serving lines (condiments, milk, fruit, veggies, etc.)
- Wash dishes (trays, pots, pans, etc.)
- Sweep and mop floors
- Put away stock and non‑food supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Basic knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to multi‑task
- Customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to read and perform basic mathematical equations
- BCI/FBI background clearance
Starting Pay: $13.00/hr.
