Part-Time / Full-Time Position Summary Nicola's Ristorante is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host / Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, coordinating seating, and supporting the service team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.

Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s reservation system.

Escort guests to tables while providing menus and initial information.

Coordinate table seating to maintain smooth service flow and server rotation.

Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.

Communicate guest needs and seating updates with servers and management.

Assist with guest departures and thank guests for dining with us.

Support front-of-house operations during peak service times.

Qualifications Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.

Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to move quickly through the dining room when needed.
