What You’ll Do:

As a Vendor-Hawker at Sodexo, you will be responsible for selling food and beverage items in a mobile service model throughout event spaces, including seating areas, concourses, and designated public areas. This role focuses on high-volume sales, guest engagement, and efficient service while moving through crowds during live events. The Vendor-Hawker represents the brand directly to guests and plays a key role in driving sales and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities may vary based on venue type, event format, and business needs.

Responsibilities include:

Carries food and beverage products using approved vending equipment (trays, baskets, backpacks, or carts).Actively engages guests and promotes products while maintaining professional and respectful interactions.

Processes cash and/or cashless transactions accurately using approved payment methods.

Maintains proper security of cash, payment devices, and product at all times.

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.

Previous retail, sales, concessions, or vending experience preferred.

Must maintain a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol-service certification, and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements.

A Food Handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.
