Nicola's Ristorante is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host / Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, coordinating seating, and supporting the service team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s reservation system.
• Escort guests to tables while providing menus and initial information.
• Coordinate table seating to maintain smooth service flow and server rotation.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Communicate guest needs and seating updates with servers and management.
• Assist with guest departures and thank guests for dining with us.
• Support front-of-house operations during peak service times.

• Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move quickly through the dining room when needed.
