Retail Assistant Store Manager
Pay
: $13.00 to $17.00 per hour. The company offers an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. This role supports the Store Manager in leading daily operations, developing staff, maximizing financial goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development; communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees.
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge; act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Should be able to work in multiple locations; must have flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week; hours vary by business needs.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Cash handling experience required; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong work ethic and business sense.

- Vacation: 1 week after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year, 2 weeks on each anniversary thereafter, with adjustments as required by state/local rules; 120 hours after 5 years.
