Job Summary
The Coordinator team member is responsible for the efficient expedition of customer sales transactions at the front registers, maintaining proper control of cash, ensuring customer satisfaction, and safeguarding company assets. They assist customers as needed, maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor, and adhere to all procedural guidelines.
Responsibilities- Ensure customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
- Greet customers entering the store and respond promptly to their needs.
- Assist in overseeing the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
- Operate the cash register by scanning price‑coded items, entering PLU or UPC codes manually, compiling printed lists, and displaying the cost of purchases, taxes, and rebates on the monitor screen.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and ensure no personal items are in the area.
- Assure completion of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions and proper cash control at the registers.
- Model exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
- Review customer survey and feedback from previous days or weeks.
- Prepare, package, stock, store, and display merchandise appropriately.
- Ensure price change compliance.
- Ensure food safety compliance.
- Order manually ordered items.
- Stock, rotate, and merchandise facing products according to department procedures.
- Remove any inferior or out‑of‑code products from display so they are not sold.
- Ensure all products are accurately priced and sales prices are maintained up to date.
- Provide consultation to customers regarding consumer products.
- Execute ad set compliance, including signage.
- Meet or exceed sales floor condition expectations in the respective department.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
- Use the production planner and fresh dashboard properly.
- Complete other daily tasks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2‑3 years of related retail experience.
- One year of management experience.
- Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
- Communicate to team members in the organization in a clear and precise manner, providing direction.
- Resolve conflict by addressing root cause issues.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Analyze financial and statistical information to make informed decisions.
- Consult with customers on all areas pertaining to their department.
- Lead an organization that practices safe working at all times.
- Mentor team members in all areas of the organization, including hourly positions.
- Complete all required certifications, including Serv Safe Certification.

Pay range for this position: $16.05 – $25.15 per hour, based on market data and qualifications.
