Position: (USA) Merchandising Lead

Position Summary

Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company's products and services. Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility: assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques.

Ensures complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines, supports the Open Door Policy, and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates.

Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and required documentation. Maintains safety of facility by conducting sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Keeps the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise, setting up displays, and ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards.

Oversees the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged in line with company policy. Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs, collaborates with managers, coworkers, and partners, monitors progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and promotes compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.

Leads and participates in teams, shares resources and information, determines customer needs and business priorities, coordinates work assignments, and models how to adapt to change. Embraces differences, fosters belonging, builds trust, and mentors others. Acts with integrity, self‑less manner, and fairness. Serves customers and members first, balances short and long‑term priorities, and delivers results. Strives for excellence through curiosity, learning, calculated risks, continuous improvement, and technology adoption.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leading a team and supervising experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
