Lead the day-to-day activities of the department operations in a retail store in the absence of the department manager or as directed.;
Order and maintain inventory in the department, utilizing inventory control procedures to minimize loss and ensure product freshness and quality.;
Manage a team that completes stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure product quality, production planning, accuracy, and date-sensitive rotation.;
Assist in scheduling, labor control, overtime control, and payroll expense for the department.;
Support the department manager in staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates.
