The Key Holder (Part Time) role at Boot Barn in Cincinnati, OH is an on-site position responsible for supporting store operations and providing a consistent, positive customer experience. This role assists with opening and closing procedures, securing the store, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, offering product recommendations, processing transactions, maintaining visual standards, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
The Key Holder also helps guide team members during shifts, supports sales initiatives, and responds to customer concerns in a professional manner. This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to demonstrate strong Product Knowledge to guide customers in selecting western wear, workwear, footwear, and accessories.
- Effective Communication skills to interact clearly with customers, team members, and leadership.
- Experience in Retail Sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales goals and supporting promotional activities.
- Proven Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to create welcoming, helpful, and efficient in-store interactions.
- Basic math and point-of-sale (POS) skills for handling cash, payments, and returns accurately.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift merchandise as required during shifts.
- Previous retail or key holder experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliability, integrity, and willingness to learn and promote Boot Barn’s brand and values.
