To support us in our expansion and growth in North America we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support the Mid-west Region (WI, IL, MN, IA, NE, KS, SD, ND).
The position can be located anywhere in the Mid-West Region of the US and will be remote from the company’s Headquarter in the Greater Cincinnati Metro Area.
Job descriptionExor is looking for a highly autonomous, detail-oriented, professional technical sales engineer to join the company. The sales engineer will work in close collaboration with the sales management of the North American Headquarter in West Chester Ohio / Greater Cincinnati Region. A passion for industrial automation and manufacturing will enable you to excel in this role where you will interact with industrial companies and with engineers from functions like Senior Management, R&D, purchasing, product design, manufacturing engineers, … A good technical understanding will allow to learn about EXOR high quality products and their market applications, industry segments.
As a good listener you will be able to interact with customers and understand their needs and wants in order to translate it into solutions and sales.
A passion for sales and business development will allow you to develop your territory and / or your industry segment (based on candidate’s profiles).

Responsibilities and duties- Develop and grow the customer portfolio
- Promotion and sales of EXOR product families and IIOT solutions
- Market research and development of business intelligence
- Build and develop strong business relationships
- Identify leads and opportunities with new and existing accounts
- Maintain internal data management systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
- Identify solutions and prepare technical/commercial proposals in alignment with the US HQ Team
- Negotiate and close commercial contracts
- Account management and customer relationship management
- Ensure customer satisfaction and information management towards HQ
- Support After Sales client communication and support
- Support the development of a high-performance distribution network
- Regular interaction and reporting to HQ on goals, objectives and metrics
- Regular informal and formal reporting to senior management and team members
- Continuous learning willingness about industry trends and EXOR´s products and services
- Ability to occasionally communicate with Italian HQ (in English / inter-cultural sensitivity is a plus)
