The Account Manager (AM) role is responsible for managing and growing a base of existing and new accounts for Aptar Closures, meeting or exceeding unit, revenue, and sustainable profitability growth targets. The AM will work closely with Regional Sales Leadership, Marketing, and cross‑functional teams to drive growth by identifying new opportunities within their current portfolio, driving technical value propositions in our Beverage market and developing new business through defined growth strategies and target customers.
Asan Account Manager, You Will:
- Customer presence and cross‑functional relationship development.
- Systematic prospecting supported by regional sales & marketing teams.
- Commercial negotiations & management of agreements.
- Internal priority setting & stakeholder alignment by region & function.
- Revenue generation by upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Maintaining a strong knowledge on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance.
- Required:
College or university business degree
Experience
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Exposure to multi‑national consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
- Packaging industry experience is highly preferable with emphasis on Beverage
- Technical experience with Beverage preferred
- Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant sales tools
- Strong leadership capabilities & growth potential.
- Team player but ready to work and drive actions independently.
- Ability to work across functions internally and at the client.
- Strong experience in selling and in the management of key account relationships.
- Good communicator at all levels of the organization.
- Up to 50%, depending upon business needs
