The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers, generating qualified meetings and platform demonstrations for the MYS sales team across both EMEA and North American markets. As part of the Sales team and reporting to the VP of Sales, this role is responsible for executing high-volume outbound prospecting through phone, email, and Linked In to build a healthy, well-qualified pipeline.
This is an in-office position based at our Newtown, Ohio headquarters, with hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The schedule is intentionally structured to support EMEA market outreach in the morning hours and North American outreach in the afternoons. This role is open to recent graduates and early-career candidates eager to grow in a professional SaaS sales environment.
Key Responsibilities- Run structured, personalized outreach sequences across phone, email, and Linked In
- Write clear and compelling outreach copy that reflects the MYS brand and resonates with events industry professionals
- Follow up professionally with prospects across all channels
- Book qualified meetings and platform demonstrations with prospective customers for the sales team
- Ensure all booked meetings are properly briefed with context, company background, and identified pain points
- Own the confirmation and reminder process to minimize no-shows
- Log all activity accurately and promptly in Hub Spot including calls, emails, meetings, and notes
- Maintain up-to-date contact and account records
- Create regular reporting of activity metrics and pipeline progress
- Share market intelligence with the sales and marketing teams, including objections heard, what resonates, and what does not
- Work closely with marketing to align messaging and leverage active campaigns
- Learn the products, along with upcoming product features and releases, to better answer prospect questions and guide discovery conversations
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in building a sales career. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Strong verbal communication skills, confident, articulate, and comfortable on the phone
- Strong written communication skills for email and Linked In outreach
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a genuine desire to grow in a sales career
- Organized and disciplined approach to managing tasks, follow-ups, and CRM activity
- Coachable, responds positively to feedback, and actively seeks to improve
- Collaborative working style, able to work constructively with sales, marketing, and other internal teams
- Familiarity with Hub Spot or similar CRM platforms
- Experience with Linked In Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
- Interest in or exposure to the events, exhibitions, or trade show industry
