Strategic Systems is seeking a high-performing Account Executive (Hunter) to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth throughout the Cincinnati market. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a proven background in IT staffing sales who enjoys prospecting, developing opportunities, and closing new business.
This is a true hunter role. Success will be measured by new client acquisition, pipeline generation, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is motivated by competition, enjoys opening doors and building relationships from scratch, and has a proven history of generating net-new business through persistent business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities New Business Development- Identify, prospect, and secure new client relationships within target markets.
- Generate opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, Linked In, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Sell IT staffing services while identifying opportunities for project-based and technology solutions when appropriate.
- Engage hiring managers, directors, VPs, and C-level decision-makers.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client business challenges and align solutions to their needs.
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- Develop account penetration strategies and territory plans.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- Identify opportunities for long-term growth and expansion.
- Position Strategic Systems as a preferred partner for talent and technology solutions.
- Partner closely with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
- Communicate client expectations, priorities, and market intelligence.
- 3-5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the IT staffing industry
- Demonstrated success generating net-new business and exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling contract staffing, contract-to-hire, direct hire, or workforce solutions
- Strong prospecting, cold-calling, and business development skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, directors, VPs, and executive stakeholders
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
- Experience selling project services, consulting services, or managed technology solutions
- Established network of hiring managers, business leaders, and decision-makers within the Cincinnati market
- Experience selling into Healthcare, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Technology, or other enterprise environments
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
