Fire protection experience is not required, however having a genuine interest in learning the business is essential. This role requires excellent relationship building skills. Overview

In the Business Development role at Ryan Fire protection, you will focus on building relationships with facility owners and managers in the Cincinnati area through a variety of events and organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate training on newly installed equipment for the property owner and manager.
  • Educate end-users on requirements for inspections, testing and maintenance.
  • Pursue sales leads from call-ins, website and referrals.
  • Network with customers, prospects, and other vendors to build awareness of our offerings.
  • Entertain prospective customers during and after normal business hours.
  • Directly sell our services to ensure achievement of individual monthly goals.
  • Plan and lead Ryan-hosted events, trade shows and networking functions.
Skills, Education & Experience
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and driven.
  • Proactive communicator with managers and colleagues.
  • Outstanding interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Proven ability to work with a team and independently.
  • Sales experience is strongly encouraged.
  • Fire protection experience is encouraged but not mandatory.
