Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in cultivating and developing customer relationships while driving sales growth. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing sales strategies, forecasting revenues, and overseeing all sales activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Developing and implementing national sales action plans and marketing strategies.
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints regarding products or services.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners.
  • Generating and managing quotations in response to customer RFQs.
  • Identifying emerging markets to capitalize on new sales opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
Supervision

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and may involve supervising other employees in the sales, marketing, and customer service team, as well as coordinating the activities of commissioned outside representatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of developing new customer relationships.
  • Previous experience representing metal manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of proper phone etiquette, customer service techniques, and computer skills.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and work with solid models of components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform well in high‑pressure environments.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
Work Environment

The work environment may occasionally include exposure to a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts and varying temperatures. Safety protocols must be adhered to, including wearing appropriate safety gear.
