Position Overview

As a Relationship Manager III – C&I within PNC’s Commercial Banking organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH. You will set relationship strategies and direct relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
  • Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services.
  • Manage risk/return and ensure quality for new and/or existing clients while actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Provide ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being to focus on client opportunities.
  • Drive client engagement and loyalty while generating ideas and best practices within Relationship Management.
  • Maintain an effective network of senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients, expand existing ones, and enhance the client experience.
  • Present the full range of PNC’s products and services, leveraging reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk for complex credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree. Higher level education such as a Master’s degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry‑relevant experience of 8+ years is preferred. Specific certifications are often required, and a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
