Why This Role MattersAre you a sales leader who thrives on coaching people, improving performance, and building a team that consistently wins? In this role, you’ll directly influence revenue growth by developing a high-performing team, strengthening pipeline execution, and driving conversion.
You won’t just manage a team, you’ll shape how we sell, coach, and grow.
What You’ll Own Lead, Coach, and Develop the Team- Lead and develop a team of approximately six sales representatives
- Provide ongoing coaching focused on performance, opportunity strategy, and skill development
- Build a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Conduct pipeline reviews and guide opportunity strategy
- Improve quote-to-order conversion and overall sales effectiveness
- Support pricing and discounting decisions that balance conversion, customer value, and profitability
- Coach representatives on how to communicate value and navigate competitive situations
- Monitor customer trends, buying behaviors, and market opportunities
- Identify strategic accounts and expansion opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Customer Experience, Operations, and Sales teams to improve the customer journey
- Drive measurable revenue growth
- Improve quote-to-order conversion and pipeline performance
- Strengthen customer retention and long‑term account growth
- Build a high‑performing, engaged, and accountable sales team
- Based in the Cincinnati area and able to work onsite four days per week.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of coaching teams to achieve revenue, conversion, and performance goals.
- Experience leading inside sales, account management, or customer-facing sales teams in a high-volume sales environment with consistent sales achievements.
- Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, quote-to-order conversion, customer retention, and sales process improvement.
- Experience using CRM and sales analytics tools to drive visibility, accountability, coaching, and business decisions.
- Proven ability to analyze performance gaps and implement strategies that improve team results.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and develop sales professionals.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% to support customer relationships, team development, and business initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
