Echo Electric is seeking an Industrial Sales Specialist to focus on Industrial OEM and Industrial End Users. The territory for this role will be Cincinnati, OH and the surrounding markets. Candidates’ area of expertise should include a broad background with industrial control products, motors, drives, and automation solutions. The primary function will be end-to-end selling of appropriate products and solutions with a heavy focus on development of new business and organic growth within existing accounts.
Responsibilities- Identify and establish contact with potential customers:
- Actively seek out potential customers and initiate contact.
- Schedule appointments and perform product demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships:
- Build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Follow up with potential leads and maintain connections with current clients.
- Attend industry trade shows:
- Participate in industry events and trade shows.
- Identify potential sales leads and engage with existing customers during these gatherings.
- Stay informed about industry trends:
- Keep abreast of industry developments.
- Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Recommend targeted marketing strategies:
- Suggest effective marketing approaches for specific regions or demographics based on market understanding.
- Generate and submit sales reports:
- Provide insights to management.
- Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with or selling to industrial end users or industrial OEMs.
- High school diploma required; a technical degree is preferred.
- Effective communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Negotiation skills for contracts and pricing.
- Solid product knowledge of industrial control products, motors, drives, and automation solutions.
- Adaptability to different customer needs and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and closing deals.
