Key Job Responsibilities

• Classify, identify, package, and label hazardous waste for safe transportation and disposal
• Follow all regulatory, safety, and company policies to support a compliant, environmentally responsible workplace
• Process required documentation to meet environmental regulations and internal procedures
• Unpack hazardous materials at plant locations when needed
• Sample and analyze container contents
• Use internal software systems to research, record, and manage data
• Drive a 26‑ft box truck once a Class B CDL is obtained
• Remote‑open and stabilize high‑hazard chemicals (for advanced chemists)
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
• Previous lab packing experience preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of—or interest in learning—hazardous waste regulations
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Able to pass a physical exam, drug screen, and background check
• Willing and able to travel and wear a full‑face respirator
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with Tanker Haz Mat endorsement within 6 months (CDL holders preferred)
