They monitor access points, respond quickly to emergencies, and help prevent potential safety risks before they escalade. - Perform routine patrols of the community; including but not limited to buildings, grounds, surrounding areas and resident units.
- Monitor community activity visually and through provided surveillance tools and equipment.
- Complete fact-based security and/or incident reports, as necessary.
- Manage after-hour entry and exits onto the campus and community buildings. Secure gates, doors, and other access points as required by departmental policy.
- Respond to alarms, pull cords and other alerts and notifications in a timely manner. Coordinate arrival of, and direct, emergency vehicles to the correct location and provide access to entry, as needed.
- Respond to, and investigate, reports of suspicious activity. Assist with escorting discharged employees, trespassers, and other unwelcome visitors off property.
- Ensure the utmost confidentiality and professionalism with all matters involving residents, employees and others. Comply with HIPAA regulations and other federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Fulltime:
Sunday-Saturday, rotating weekends and holidays - Third shift;
Hours are 12a-8a
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent and must be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and learn new skills through on-the-job training and instructions to satisfactorily meet job performance requirements.
- A team player and have passion to serve the elderly.
