Security Officer and Command Center

Overview

The Command Center Operator is responsible for overseeing security systems, managing security cameras, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to protect people, property and assets.

Reports to: Territory Manager

The Command Center Operator is responsible for overseeing security systems, managing security cameras, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to protect people, property and assets.

• Monitoring Security Cameras:
  Ensure that all security procedures are followed, including access controls surveillance, and emergency response.
• Incident Management:
  Document and report security incidents promptly and maintain records of incidents and security logs (DAR) for analysis and reporting.
• Collaboration with Law Enforcement:
  Act as a point of contact with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to support security operations and business interests.
• Emergency Response Coordination:
  Coordinate response efforts during emergencies, ensuring that all security personnel are trained on evacuation procedures and emergency protocols.
• Establishes proactive and collaborative relationships with site manager to strengthen security response times.
• Provides post coverage as needed.
• Maintains all post documentation.

• Previous Command Center or Video Surveillance experience
• Communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong report writing skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

• Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with customers and/or law enforcement.
• Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities.
• General computer knowledge and able to adapt to software.
