Security Officer​/Screener

Andy Frain Services seeks a Security Officer / Screener to protect transportation & logistics facilities within our Security & Law Enforcement department. In this role, you will screen passengers, visitors, and cargo, operate metal detectors and X-ray equipment, verify credentials, and monitor access to restricted areas. You will respond to incidents, complete detailed reports, and support law enforcement partners. Responsibilities

• Conduct security screening of passengers, visitors, and employees using metal detectors and X-ray equipment
• Verify identification, tickets, and credentials in accordance with transportation security protocols
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access
• Respond to security alerts, incidents, and emergencies following established procedures
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports with accurate documentation
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and operations staff as needed
• Provide clear directions and customer service while maintaining a professional presence
• Perform bag checks and package inspections in compliance with regulations
• Conduct regular patrols of terminals, loading areas, and critical infrastructure
• Participate in ongoing safety drills, training, and compliance audits
