Andy Frain Services seeks a detail-oriented Security Cargo Screener to support our Transportation & Logistics operations within the Security & Law Enforcement department. You will inspect and screen cargo using X-ray and related technologies to detect prohibited items, ensuring full compliance with TSA and airport security regulations. Responsibilities include verifying documentation, maintaining accurate records, and promptly reporting security incidents or irregularities.

Responsibilities
- Screen air cargo and baggage using X-ray and other detection equipment
- Verify documentation and shipment integrity against security standards
- Identify and report prohibited items, tampering, or irregularities
- Follow TSA, airport, and company security protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate screening logs and incident reports
- Coordinate with security and law enforcement personnel during alerts
- Support investigations by preserving evidence and observations
- Participate in ongoing security, safety, and equipment training
- Communicate clearly with cargo handlers, drivers, and supervisors
- Promote a safe, compliant, and customer-focused cargo environment
Required Skills
- Cargo X-ray screening
- Use of metal detectors and explosive trace detection (ETD) devices
- Knowledge of TSA and airport security regulations
- Documentation and recordkeeping
- Incident reporting
- Basic computer and security software usage
- Attention to detail in visual inspection
- Radio and clear verbal communication
- Time management in fast-paced environments
- Understanding of chain-of-custody procedures
