HVACR Technician​/Install Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

• Troubleshoot and solve HVAC, hydronic, piping and control problems.
• Follow up with customers for quality assurance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work independently with little direction and solve problems (e.g., contacting factory, engineer, architect, foreman).
• Attend job site and office meetings related to assigned projects, prepared to handle issues; complete forms, revisions, requests for tools/equipment/materials.
• Be dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called.
• Identify and locate parts/suppliers.
• Be on call as required and complete corresponding paperwork timely and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 5 years commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• Stable work history.
• HVAC and brazing license.
• EPA or Universal license.
• Type 2 or Universal Refrigerant License.
• HVAC, Hydronic and/or plumbing licenses are a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of general plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration repair and installation.
• Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
• Able to use specialty tools including recovery machine, multimeter, combustion analyzer.
• Able to install equipment.
• Strong technical background.
• Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• High School or GED equivalent.
• Trade school a plus.
• Eyesight correctable to 20/50.
• Can work long hours on feet.
• Can lift and climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Can perform shift work.
• Can lift objects up to 60 lbs.
• Can work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Not afraid of heights.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Provide own basic hand tools.
