POSITION SUMMARY
Located in the Cincinnati market, this position offers the opportunity to function as a crew lead and to interact with customers through the installation of solid surface, granite, and quartz surfaces. See the fruits of your labor as you transform spaces! Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Ensuring strong communication with customers (including effective problem resolution when applicable)
- Reading orders and installing countertops to customer specifications
- Facilitating safe, efficient, and precise installation of products
- Obtaining proper customer sign off for work completed
This position offers a $400 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma/GED required
- Chauffer's license with a clean driving record (can assist with obtaining chauffeur's license)
- At least three years of counter top installation experience
- Ability to lead by example, teaching and training new installers
- Ability to follow prescribed programs and standards
- Continuous improvement mentality
- Desire to help grow and develop the program and the business
- Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to complete tasks with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and desire to "do things right the first time"
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to safely operate all tools and equipment in the fabricating shop and on the installation truck
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
- Commitment to work safely and efficiently at all times
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to safely lift and move granite and quartz counter top products and other heavy materials
- Ability to draw CAD (AutoCAD) beneficial but not required, install experience, and/or templating experience
