Service Specialist, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Laundry Lux is the North American supplier of Electrolux and Wascomat commercial laundry equipment for self‑service laundromats and on‑premises laundries such as hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, salons, firehouses, and more.

We provide financing, repairs, and a comprehensive set of services to support all aspects of commercial laundry operations.

The Field Service Technician obtains orders for sales and service contracts by meeting and greeting laundromat owners, and performs service and repair of laundry equipment safely and courteously in accordance with Laundry Lux standards.

• Perform all service support as well as upsells and sell service contracts to locations.
• Provide all Wascomat/Electrolux warranty labor.
• Offer installation/parts support when needed.
• Address all service and parts calls and provide customer support.
• Coordinate and schedule service calls for team and customers.
• Support team in project manager role on laundromat projects when needed.
• Canvas markets and drop off mailers.
• Drive the sale of preventive maintenance and service plans.
• Recommend measures to improve service methods, equipment performance, and quality of service.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
• Maintain time and service records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Assist with helping key accounts.

• 1+ years of experience in installation and repair of commercial equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jack and lift gate.

• Frequent travel to customer locations.
• Occasional overnight travel.
