Field Technician I – Construction Materials Testing – Cincinnati, OH

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking a Field Technician I to join our Professional Services Industries, Inc. team at our Cincinnati office. This is an opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing such as soil, concrete, and other materials, and provide assessment of data through reporting.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Must be able to work off‑shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make discriminations in sound.
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of construction‑related experience.
• ACI Certification.
