Carpenter; Measure Technician

Position Overview

Champion is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician. As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Measures for products at customer homes.
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms.
• Orders and tracks repair/installation services.
• Assists Management with reporting and communication as requested.
• Interacts with homeowners to service their home‑improvement needs.
• Safely performs all aspects of the job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws.

• High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation.
• Experience in the use of hand tools such as a brake, utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
