Maintenance Technician

, a 60-bed skilled nursing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a dependable and hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well‑functioning environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you have experience with building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or general repairs, we would love to hear from you.

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Complete preventive maintenance assignments and maintain accurate records
• Conduct life safety inspections including fire extinguishers, exit signs, and emergency lighting
• Perform weekly generator inspections and assist with testing activities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
• Maintain facility grounds, sidewalks, and common areas
• Work with outside vendors and contractors during inspections and repairs
• Support emergency preparedness activities and regulatory compliance efforts

• Previous maintenance experience required
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or facility maintenance strongly preferred
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long‑term care experience is a plus

• EPA 608 Certification
• Knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, nurse call, or access control systems
• Familiarity with healthcare safety and compliance standards
