Position Overview:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for the service, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and more.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
- Install and commission new equipment and retrofit existing systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation via service software or paperwork.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Follow all safety and company procedures.
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience (service or install).
- EPA 608 Certification required (Universal preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with major manufacturers (Trane, Carrier, Lennox, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Willing to work occasional overtime, weekends, or on‑call shifts.
Skills:
- Experience with refrigeration, EMS/BAS systems, or chillers.
- OSHA 10/30, NATE, or Journeyman License a plus.
- Familiarity with tablets or service software.
