OverviewWe are partnering with a growing industrial service organization to identify an experienced Lead Boiler Service Technician to support and help lead a developing field service team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex mechanical issues, mentoring technicians, and working independently in the field while helping shape a growing service operation. The organization is investing heavily in expanding and strengthening its service department and is seeking a hands‑on technical leader with strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
The Lead Boiler Service Technician will provide technical leadership and field support involving commercial and industrial boiler systems, burners, combustion systems, controls, and related equipment. This individual will help mentor technicians, troubleshoot challenging issues, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair:
- Steam and hot water boiler systems
- Burners and combustion systems
- Controls and instrumentation
- Auxiliary boiler room equipment
- Lead and mentor field service technicians
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Identify replacement parts and coordinate repairs
- Support burner installations and retrofit projects
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
- Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicle
- Participate in ongoing technical training and development

- Experience supporting industrial equipment
- OEM or manufacturer certifications
- Approximately 25% travel
