General Shop Labor

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Shop Laborer for our location in Blue Ash, OH. This role involves working on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The position requires the ability to perform various tasks in a shop setting, contributing to the creation of quality woodwork and products.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to perform various carpentry tasks.
• Build and route counters, shelves, and other wooden structures for hotels and apartments.
• Construct crates and ensure their quality.
• Operate machines as required in the shop.

Essential Skills

• Must wear steel-toed boots for safety.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with sanders or routers.
• Proficiency in using hand tools as a carpenter, installer, or new account installer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in wood finishing, including spraying stain, paint, and topcoats.
• Knowledge of fabricating and seaming solid surface countertops and similar products.
• Basic understanding of general woodworking tools, small hand tools, and methods.
• Willingness to be trained through the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
