Installation & Technical Execution
- Install, terminate, and/or program security devices including access control, alarms, intercoms, video surveillance systems
- Configure systems such as IP cameras, NVRs, and access control platforms
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Assist project management with scheduling, progress updates, and issue escalation
- Support service calls, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed
- Perform testing, inspections, and final walkthroughs to ensure full system functionality
- Maintain tools, equipment and jobsite materials
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and installation quality
- Represent PCS-SS professionally at all jobsites
- Experienced in commercial security system installation (2+ years preferred)
- Skilled in installing devices such as card readers, alarm and access control panels, motion detectors, door contacts, glass breaks, mag locks, electric strikes, IP cameras, configuring NVR and access control software, etc.
- Comfortable working with basic networking (IP addressing)
- Able to read blueprints, use metering devices, and troubleshoot technical systems
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills
- A dependable team player who takes pride in high‑quality work and customer satisfaction
- Profession, reliable, and self‑motivated
- Certifications and/or experience with systems such as Bosch, Honeywell, Milestone, Avigilon, Axis, Gallagher, or similar
- Knowledge of conduit work, door hardware, or locksmith‑related skills
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to travel out of state
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be local to the Cincinnati, OH area
