The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and repair of piping systems across various commercial buildings. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to strict safety protocols at all times. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and possess a strong understanding of various types of piping materials and systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team working on exciting construction projects. Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand the specific requirements of each project.
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for commercial buildings.
• Measuring, cutting, grooving, threading, welding, and joining various types of pipes including copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX, etc.
• Utilizing hand tools and machines to bend pipes as required.
• Testing piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges for any indications of leaks.
• Adhering to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE, keeping the worksite organized and free of hazards.
• Welding in all positions (standing, kneeling, etc.) as the job demands.
• Using roll groove machines as required.
• Sweating and brazing pipes as needed.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipefitter
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Demonstrated experience with welding in all positions.
• Proficiency in sweating and brazing.
• Experience using a roll groove machine.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with various types of pipes including copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX, etc.
• Proficient in using pipe-bending tools and machines.
• Proven ability to test piping systems for leaks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items and work in various positions.
