Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Are you a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician ready to ensure the seamless operation of a leading financial client’s critical facilities? This dynamic role requires a dedicated professional to maintain optimal conditions, troubleshoot various building systems, and perform essential preventative maintenance. Your proactive approach and problem‑solving abilities will be key to minimizing downtime and supporting a high‑stakes financial environment.

The primary work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with some flexibility. You’ll also participate in a rotational Saturday shift approximately every six weeks, which initiates your on‑call week, providing vital support for urgent after‑hours needs.

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform general commercial facilities maintenance, including plumbing repairs, light electrical work, and other routine building upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular checks on facility assets, including doors, electrical systems, HVAC units, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

• Salary: $28.00–$32.00 per hour
