Industrial Controls Technician
Allied Technical Services is looking for an Industrial Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and field equipment across the Cincinnati area. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and seeing something different every day. You'll be provided a company vehicle, tools, training, and the opportunity to help grow a specialized service team.
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues in the field.
- Diagnose PLC, motor control, VFD, and control panel problems.
- Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Respond to service calls and restore equipment operation.
- Support municipal and industrial customers.
- Complete service documentation and communicate directly with customers.
- Work independently using a company service vehicle.
What We're Looking For:
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with motor controls, drives, relays, and control circuits
- Able to read electrical schematics.
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license
Bonus Points For:
- Allen Bradley or Rockwell experience
- SCADA exposure
- Water/wastewater experience
- Field service background
