Cincinnati, OH Pay Rate: $28.00 – $36.00 per hour

Job Duties
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
  • Install conduit, cable, wiring, and electrical components according to code and operational requirements.
  • Size and select proper wire, amperage, and voltage requirements for industrial applications.
  • Program and troubleshoot VFDs, timers, and heat controllers.
  • Build, wire, and maintain electrical control panels.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using electrical drawings, schematics, manuals, and testing equipment.
  • Support preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.
Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Technical training in electrical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation. Strong understanding of basic mathematics and electrical principles, including Ohm's Law.

Experience Requirements

2-5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility preferred. Experience working with three-phase 480 VAC electrical systems and industrial troubleshooting. Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), timers, heat controllers, fuses, breakers, SSRs, and control systems. Experience building, wiring, and troubleshooting small and large control panels. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. Willingness to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and emergency maintenance situations as needed.

Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Frequently lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for electrical installation and repair work. Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery.
