Requirements for Technicians/Mechanics:
- Perform repairs on commercial trailers
- Repair wood trailer flooring
- Repair or replace metal panels on trailers
- Diagnose and make repairs to electrical system
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Repair and replace truck and trailer body parts
- Perform basic PM's on truck and trailers
- Follow all safety requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Perform DOT inspections a plus
- Experience using small hand tools and a tape measure
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Show the utmost courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management
- Adhere to the manufacturer's policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications
Technician/Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
- Clean driving record required for all mobile technicians
- Must make safety a priority
- Self-motivated and professional
- Must be able to work independently
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, stopping/kneeling for extended amounts of time, reaching with arms and hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds
