• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel trucks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical components to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and address vehicle malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Experience: Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably working with heavy equipment and trucks. Technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.

Skills:

• Expertise in field fabrication and repair welding; ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong understanding of diesel engine components and systems.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics and airbrakes required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Knowledge: Familiarity with heavy equipment used in demolition or construction.

Mindset: Problem-solver with a safety-first attitude and attention to detail.

Physical Ability: Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment

Must have own tools. Valid Driver's license and CDL a plus!
