We are seeking experienced Alarm Technicians to join our growing Projects Team supporting large-scale commercial installations across the country. This role is focused on multi-week installation and deployment projects involving fire alarm, intrusion alarm, and access control technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience to Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems in commercial environments such as retail facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, office buildings, and industrial sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who enjoy larger projects, travel-based work, and seeing complete installations through from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems on commercial project sites.
  • Perform full system deployments including panels, field devices, wiring infrastructure, and end-user equipment.
  • Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems while maintaining quality, code compliance, and customer standards.
  • Pull, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling including 18/2, Cat5e, Cat6, and composite cable.
  • Install control panels, keypads, mag locks, electric strikes, door contacts, motion sensors, card readers, and notification devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and project documentation.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, programming assistance, and commissioning activities.
  • Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems during all phases of project execution and closeout.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, site supervisors, and installation teams.
  • Maintain accurate project records, testing documentation, and daily reports.
  • Travel for project assignments while adhering to company safety standards and PPE requirements.
  • Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems while ensuring customer satisfaction and project completion timelines are achieved.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Alarm Technician with the ability to Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems in commercial environments.
  • Strong background in project-based installations rather than service-only work.
  • Experience working in retail, office, industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution facilities.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading alarm platforms including Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, Notifier, Bosch, DSC, Honeywell, and similar systems.
  • Proven ability to Install and support fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems while working independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel away from home for 1-3 weeks at a time depending on project requirements.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • State-required alarm, security, or low-voltage licenses where applicable.
  • Lift certifications, confined space training, or other safety certifications are a plus.
