People Working Cooperatively, Inc. invites applicants for the Generalist III position. This full-time role performs home repairs and general construction tasks across multiple locations.

We perform more than 8,000 services annually for eligible homeowners, assisting approximately 9,000 individuals in southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana.

Performs home repairs and general construction tasks to existing residential buildings.
Essential Job Objectives- Perform general residential home repair, construction, and remodeling tasks including carpentry, drywall, tile, minor electrical, minor plumbing, roofing, concrete, painting, insulation installation, and other relevant trade skills.
- Understand and follow safety requirements for tasks and tools.
- Follow work orders or job estimates and meet time and budget restraints.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose repairs to homes, plan order of work, and generate estimates.
- Communicate with clients to explain scope of projects, tasks to be performed, and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain equipment and materials, keep a clean and safe work site.
- Complete required recordkeeping in electronic format.
- Work collaboratively to problem‑solve and successfully complete projects.
- Coordinate with clients, home inspectors, subcontractors, and employees to complete job assignments.
- Experience demonstrating the ability to perform required home repair tasks.
- Driver’s license and dependable transportation, with required vehicle insurance.
- Ability to relate with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Work independently and as a team member to accomplish tasks.
- Physical ability to climb, crawl, bend, stoop, lift up to 80 pounds, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders.
- Preferred experience of 1 or more years in home construction or repair.
- Trade‑specific experience preferred but not required.
