Role DescriptionThe Master Plumber role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities include diagnosing plumbing issues, installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and water systems, and performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs in residential and commercial settings. The Master Plumber will ensure work complies with local codes and safety standards, oversee or mentor junior technicians, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
This role also involves communicating clearly with customers, explaining recommended solutions, providing cost estimates, and delivering courteous, professional service that aligns with the company’s punctual and customer-focused standards.
- Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant work.
- Expertise working with various pipe materials and systems, including fitting, soldering, and repairs.
- Experience in maintenance and repair, with the ability to perform preventive maintenance and respond to urgent service needs.
- Proven customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Valid Master Plumber license in Ohio (or the ability to obtain), and a clean, active driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and local plumbing codes.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, working in confined spaces, and using hand and power tools safely.
- Reliable time management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing service is highly preferred.
