Field Glazier AGM

The Field Glazier is responsible for installing curtain wall and storefront framing members and glass for service and contract projects. This position works with a variety of glazing systems and performs fabrication and installation activities while supporting safe and efficient project execution.

• Install storefronts, curtain walls, entrances, and glass according to AGM and manufacturer standards.
• Interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings as required.
• Identify the differences between storefront and curtain wall systems.
• Develop and cut materials from cut lists with limited supervision when required.
• Apply sealants, adhesives, and related materials as required.
• Maintain knowledge of glazing systems, hardware items, and installation procedures for various glazing products.
• Operate battery-powered and electric-powered hand tools safely and effectively.
• Support quality work on all assigned projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following company safety policies and jobsite requirements.
• Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers and embrace a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain professionalism and quality work while supporting company goals and customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity, honesty, accountability, dedication, and professionalism while supporting safe and efficient project execution.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or GED preferred; 3-5 years glazing experience preferred; OSHA safety training preferred.

Knowledge of storefront, curtain wall, and entrance systems.

Ability to read shop drawings.

Experience using hand tools and power tools.

Knowledge of glazing systems, hardware, glazing materials, sealants, adhesives, and installation practices.

Valid driver's license preferred and willingness to travel when required.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle glass materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction activities.
